Market Research Associate Director of Operations – Healthcare - Oxfrodshire
An Associate Director is required by a Quantitative Market Research Agency in Oxford to join their Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Market Research team.
One of the UK’s largest privately owned market research companies, they have established a reputation as a leader in quantitative research.
As the healthcare team has continued to enjoy sustained growth (currently 13 strong), they have a need for an Associate Director who will take the lead the resourcing, costing and running of projects.
Reporting to the Research Director, this role requires a well organized and personable market researcher to take responsibility for organizing, co-ordinating and motivating the Healthare Research Team.
In addition, you will have account management responsibilities. This will be an initial part of the role as you get to grips with the project cycle within the company, eventually having just one or two accounts to look after as you concentrate on the other aspects of the role.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Assign projects within the team
- Over see management of all live projects
- Monitor resources for live projects
- Ensure teams are using optimum process and tools to undertake projects
- Help win proposals
- Monitor progress to plan workloads
- Assess and allocate suitable project timings
- Ensure good research practices are maintained
- Management of Office Manager, Field Manager and Research Assistants
- Recruitment and development
- Promote a happy and pleasant work environment
A Market Researcher with agency and adhoc experience, you must be able to demonstrate strong research knowledge.
This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a post that is focused on operational management and people management. You will be someone who it interested in people, helping teams to work efficiently and effectively.
To be successful in the role, you will be confident with the ability to communicate, persuade, influence and motivate people. You should be a good facilitator with strong change management skills and be passionate about making a difference.
The salary is likely to be £40k upwards, dependent upon experience and the package includes car allowance, bonus scheme, pension, medical insurance, and 25 days holiday. Flexible working hours would also be considered (4 days or 10am – 4pm).
